How to Grip the Ball to Bowl Offspin

Whether an armchair fan, or a budding Muttiah Muralitharan, wikiHow will give you a start at improving your technique. A good spinner can be the difference maker in your team, and knowing how to throw an off spin is will definitely make you one.

Steps

   Understand the off spin effect. An off spin, or off break, delivery turns from the offside to the leg side when bowled at a right-handed batter, or from left to right as you look down the pitch. That means, it moves into a right-handed batsman and away from a left handed batsman.

   Grip the ball. The grip for spin bowling is very different from seam bowling.
   • Notice that the seam turns from vertical to horizontal in the grip.

   Position the fingers. The middle joints of the index, middle finger and third finger are well spread across the seam. The little finger and thumb are not involved.

   Spin it. With off spin, you are looking to rotate or spin the ball from your forefinger to your third finger

   Release. The fingers rotate as the ball exits the hand.
   • This is almost like turning a doorknob as you release it from the front of your hand.

   Aim. You should aim to bowl the ball outside the off stump. If you bowl too close to the stumps, the batsman may dispatch your ball to the boundary on the leg side.

   Get ready to play. Following the steps above, you should now be able to bowl off-spin and hopefully take some wickets.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Well, the installation is pretty simple. Just follow these steps:-

• Firstly, download the patch and use the .exe installer. Select your root directory of Cricket07 (the location where you installed the game) – by default it is C:\Program Files\EA Sports\EA Sports(TM) Cricket07.
• Then, download the stadium pack and extract them in your root directory.
• Download & Install the AC Studios 256 HD BatPack.
• After that, download the roster and paste the roster WITH folder in My Documents\EA Sports(TM)Cricket07 or User\Documents\EA Sports(TM) Cricket07 and when you’ve opened the game load that.

CRASHING / AUTOMATIC EXITING FIX

If your game keeps on exiting on it’s on and crashing in between, either you haven’t installed the patch properly (incase you receive .big and .fsh async errors) – that means you have to load the roster, install batpack and the stadiums properly.

If your PC does not have good graphics card which could handle the high textures, then follow the following steps:-

• Remove IPL Overlay Menu from you Cricket 07 root Directory.
• Install IPL Overlay only
• Do not forget installing Light Main Menu Set.

HOW TO PLAY AN IPL TOURNAMENT?

• After Following above steps, launch the Cricket07.exe
• In main menu, go to My Cricket > Load > Load the roster ”IPL6.ROS“
• then go to Games Modes > Domestic > ENGLISH/INDIAN CRICKET
• Select PEPSI IPL T20, Set the fixtures as “2006” and overs as “20“
• Set the use team, start playing the Patch!

Bat Making Tutorial For EA Sports Cricket07 for Beginners

Hello everyone, you must have surely heard for ZAX-256 BatPack and the latest AC Studios 256 BatPack. They have put in lots of efforts with all the bats and have released every bat as a complete batpack. This is a tutorial that describes you how to create bats in EA Sports Cricket 2007, or probably making bats in Cricket07 for beginners only. For professionals, you already know this and rather do scratch making! You may also create your own custom bat!

Please follow each and every step to achieve the best result(s)! This tutorial is made by Kashif from CricketLife, I have modified it so that’s user friendly and advanced for the pro’s and useful to the noob’s. Used with permission.

1. Download the Bat-template(by Prakastic)

2.Open up the bat template and an HQ picture of the bat you want to make(make sure it has all the clear views) and use the polygonal tool to copy the stickers of the bats.

3.Press Ctrl+T to re-size and assign the stickers to their area.

4.This is the step where the magic will happen.Do the right click on the eraser tool, and you’ll get 3 options, select magic eraser tool.

5.Use the magic eraser tool on the wooden parts of the stickers.

6.Go to the layers list, and change the layer to the other side of stickers.

7.Then use the Magic eraser on the other side.

So, that’s it – you’re done with your bat. Now, just save the Bat as a .PNG extension, and by FshEd’s graphic importer option, open up the bat you want to replace it, and It’s for sure the bat will appear! Well this was just a tutorial for beginners, but if you already know this, I’d recommend these things for the professional’s and the developers:-

• Instead of using the Magic Eraser tool, use Polygon Lasso Tool or the Pen Tool to render out the stock logos and add it to the bat template.
• About it’s edges, if they don’t match with the bat’s colour, change the Hue/Saturation of the bat and blur the logo’s edges using the blur tool. Sometimes, feather is also useful.
• To change the colour of the handle or anything, create a new layer, fill it with the colour you want, and then change the blending option to multiply.
